GREE Free Match Extreme triple-zone heat pumps. Three rooms on a line that left the lists in October 2026. Is what GREE Canada still publishes enough to pick the size?
3 three-room Free Match Extreme systems, from 24,000 to 42,000 BTU/h. Three bedrooms, or two bedrooms and a basement. Since late October 2026, NEEP, ENERGY STAR and the LogisVert list no longer carry the AHRI numbers of these three systems; GREE Canada still publishes their capacities and limits, and that is what the choice rests on.
- 3three-room systems on this page
- 24,000–42,000BTU/h, nominal
- 3units: the 24,000’s maximum, per GREE Canada
- 0public table of three-unit combinations
Three sizes, three lists: when each status went.
AHRI numbers 202557961, 202557962 and 202557963 were still listed in mid-October. Here is when each list last carried them, and when it dropped them.
- Oct. 14–15, 2026Still everywhereNEEP: three “Live” records, modified Aug. 24, 2026. ENERGY STAR: “cold climate”, certified June 13, 2026. Hydro-Québec: all three sizes on the LogisVert list of Oct. 15.
- Oct. 25, 2026ENERGY STARThe dataset update removes all three AHRI numbers. ENERGY STAR keeps the non-ducted 18,000, designed for two rooms only.
- Oct. 26, 2026NEEPThe scan of the GREE brand and the search by AHRI number return nothing for the 24,000, 36,000 and 42,000.
- Oct. 27, 2026Hydro-QuébecThe LogisVert list dated that day carries none of the three numbers: no amount left for these systems.
NEEP records read Oct. 15, 2026, then checked again on the 26th; ENERGY STAR datasets of Oct. 14 and 25; Hydro-Québec LogisVert lists of Oct. 15 and 27. The ducted numbers GREE Canada prints for these three sizes were not checked on ENERGY STAR or the LogisVert list. GREE Canada still shows the line in its multi-zone collection on Oct. 26.
Three sizes for three rooms, row by row.
Without a NEEP record, the 062024 brochure is what remains. It is enough to rule a size out; it does not say what each room gets.

GREE Canada, document No. 062024, read in English and French on Oct. 26, 2026. Both length rows are shown as printed. The heating and cooling figures are the brochure’s, with no temperature stated: they are not certified deep-cold figures.
No public combination table
GREE Canada gives the number of units per size and the compatible indoor-unit families, but neither the list of allowed trios nor each room’s heat. We validate your combination before the quote.
24,000, 36,000 or 42,000: two questions are enough to rule a size out.
Height difference and the number of units in the end are the two limits GREE Canada publishes size by size. The heat each room needs is calculated at your home.
Your home, three rooms
Answer the two questions: the sizes that remain possible show up, with what sets them apart.
Three rooms on a certified system: the Free Match M R32 publishes each one’s share.
