GREE Multi21+ triple-zone heat pumps. Three rooms, four sizes, twelve combinations at most. The 36,000 and the 42,000 take exactly the same ones.
4 Multi21+ three-room systems, from 24,000 to 42,000 BTU/h. GREE Comfort lists 37 three-unit combinations for these four sizes, and each one also exists in the table of the same-size Free Match M R32. With no NEEP or ENERGY STAR record, the Multi21+ has one source of certified figures: its 2017 AHRI certificates.

Your three units: which Multi21+ lists them, and does the same-size R-32 take them?
Pick the three sizes. For the 24,000, 30,000, 36,000 and 42,000: GREE Comfort’s list, then GREE Canada’s table for the Free Match M R32 of the same capacity.
Three units, four sizes
Pick the size of each unit on your Multi21+. A green card: the combination is listed for the Multi21+ and in the table of the same-size Free Match M R32, shown as “R-32”.
On the Multi21+ side, the list comes from GREE Comfort’s 2018 brochure. On the R-32 side, from GREE Canada’s Free Match M R32 tables, in their Oct. 14, 2026 version, unchanged on Oct. 26, 2026; they also give each room’s heat, which the tool on the GREE triple-zone page shows. GREE Comfort publishes none for the Multi21+.
36,000 or 42,000: same combinations, 9,000 BTU/h apart at −8.3 °C.
The 30,000 keeps the 24,000’s five combinations, the 36,000 the 30,000’s eight, and the 42,000 adds none with three units. Going up a size, what really changes: the certified heat and the line set.

Three line sets, the real ceiling
On the 30,000, the per-unit limit (82 ft) and the total (230 ft) do not go together: three units at 82 ft need 246 ft. The 36,000 and 42,000 allow 246 ft in total, exactly three times 82 ft. On the 24,000, three times 65 ft is 195 ft, under the 197 allowed. Factory charge for 98 ft (24,000) or 131 ft, then 0.21 oz per foot.
GREE Comfort submittalsThe circuit
MCA and MOCP per GREE Comfort: 23 and 30 A (24,000), 20 and 30 A (30,000), 23 and 35 A (36,000), 24 and 40 A (42,000). The 30,000 needs the lowest MCA of the four. The nameplate is what counts, and the electrical hookup falls under our RBQ 16 licence.
2018 brochure · submittalsThe published warranty
US only, and it varies from one document to the next: 5 years on parts (2018 to 2021), 5 years parts and compressor (2020 brochure), 5 years parts and 7 years compressor (2022 submittal for the 42,000). No Canadian term is published.

Hydro-Québec’s list dated Oct. 27, 2026, indicative amounts. R-32: the same amount for the Free Match M R32 and the MULTI R32 at these four sizes, both ENERGY STAR cold climate.
LogisVert requires a new, complete system certified ENERGY STAR, and no Multi21+ has an ENERGY STAR record. Changing one of the three units on an existing Multi21+ earns no amount. For the rest of the program, see the GREE multi-zone page.
